Something is coming to Sorcerer City.
On October 1, 2027, J.V. Weidmann — author of Chad's Beginning and fellow world-builder in The Healing Dragon Universe — will release his next book in The Broken Gears series.
If you have not yet stepped into Sorcerer City, now is the perfect time. The Broken Gears follows Chad, the city's most gifted artificer, through a web of corruption, forbidden rune craft and moral descent. A city powered by magic and invention — where even the brightest minds cast the darkest shadows.
As with all stories in The Healing Dragon Universe, the worlds are connected. Characters you meet in The Princess of the Seven Holy Gods exist in the same universe as Chad and Sorcerer City. Every book you read reveals a little more of the tapestry.
The Broken Gears series is available now on Amazon:

The Healing Dragon Universe keeps growing. We hope you grow with it.

On May 8, 2026, something that lived in my head for years finally stepped into the world.
The Princess of the Seven Holy Gods: Soulbound — the first book of The Princess of the Seven Holy Gods series, written under my full name Linda Mihaela Weidmann — is now available worldwide on Amazon.
This book was never supposed to be easy to write. It carries gods who are not gentle, a princess who refuses the destiny handed to her, vows that bind tighter than chains, and — because I could not help myself — moments that will make you laugh out loud between the heartbreak.
It is written in English, for an international audience, and formatted with care for readers with dyslexia and ADHD. Because every reader deserves to step through the door.
This is also the first published story set within The Healing Dragon Universe — a shared world built together with my husband J.V. Weidmann, Morosa, and a growing community of authors whose stories are all connected to each other. Characters cross between books. Cities appear in different stories. The world is bigger than any one book can hold.
Soulbound is only the beginning.
If you are ready to meet seven holy gods who are never quite what you expect — the door is open.
👉 Available now on Amazon.de

Sometimes the story steps off the page and into the camera.
On March 27, 2026, I had the honour of being featured on Televista as a fantasy author — talking about my debut novel The Princess of the Seven Holy Gods: Soulbound, The Healing Dragon Universe, and what it means to build a shared world together with other authors.
It was a strange and wonderful feeling to sit in front of a camera not as Lyraysy the actress — but as Linda Mihaela Weidmann the author. Two names, one story, one interview.
You can watch the full 4-minute feature directly on Televista:

Thank you to the team at Televista for welcoming my world onto your screen.
The gods are watching. And apparently — so is Swiss television.
